they're probably cowering in their boxes after the fireworks last night. every year we have a big debate about how fireworks freak out strays and we shouldn't do use them. i get it and i sympathize but at the same time, thunderstorms are a thing too so their tiny minds must have some way to be able to handle short periods of big booms
