>>22788461was about to say exactly this. white women in particular have an obsession with getting small tattoos in specific areas that feel compositionally odd (e.g., top of forearm, beneath the collarbone, right above the knee as in that picture, etc.). there's an extremely common trend I've noticed among ultra-basic white women where they get the same number 3 times on their arm, like "333" or "777" -- no clue what this means, and I don't care. it's just unbelievably pathetic. the obsession with vanity, mass approval, interdependency, comformity... all meaningless and truly sickening; soulless, I would say.
