hul crazy. we have like 16 or 20 or something national holidays off that companies must observe or pay double for working if it's like a supermarket or call center or something that can't close. and they actually reduced the number of days from previous years. used to be if a tuesday was a national holiday, they'd throw in the monday too. or if it was a thursday they'd throw in the friday. and even know, if the national holiday's on a weekend, they still give you the following monday. for easter and christmas/new years we get like 3-4 days off each.
