If you watched the last 10min of her stream on Tuesday you can clearly tell that Tay doesn't really care too much about the money or having huge numbers of viewers, she was fighting back tears talking about how much she loved socializing with the chat, and having fun, she said earlier she only had one friend close by she can hang with, and only on Saturdays when they aren't busy, to Tay, the stream is the one and only place where she can just talk about the stuff that has interested her for her entire life with people that also like such things.
People here seem to be continuously caught flatfooted about why she still loves calling up Jimmy and chatting him up. Jimmy, Brian, TJ, Trish and Shinji are probably the ONLY friends she has ever had in her life that like the same things she does. Imagine going 22 years before ever meeting someone you can just shoot the shit with regarding stuff that makes you laugh or find interesting, its such a fucking pity.
