If you're thinking about God and God alone then whatever image you make of Him will not offend Him. Furthermore, He'd direct you on the image to make in the first place, so keep that in mind. God determines your standing with Him based on what goes inside of your heart and nothing else. If God is in your heart then everything you do in His name will glorify Him. You don't love God at all, thus you fail to recognize the truth in what I tell you.
The opposite is true as well; you can read the bible and the word of God and still go to hell because your heart is not perfect with God. You can claim God verbally, but if your heart is not directed towards Him then He will reject you. It's again about what's in the heart, period.
