How much their insights are owed to any potential nefarious ends achieved from Napoleon's excursions in Egypt I cannot say. I will say however, de Lubicz work is verifiable and no-one has been able to disprove his "symbolist interpretation" of Ancient Egypt, which gives the clearest understanding of the "why" for Ancient Egypt though the "how" still remains a mystery.
