>>11828506The fact we can identify when a animal is suffering enough that its "humane" to put it down yet won't do it to our own when they're suffering from a debilitating, terminal disease or when our brains are practically rotting has always baffled me.
But after spending some years in the care industry, there's plenty of cynical reasons I can wonder why. If I ever get diagnosed with dementia I'm going to off myself.
