>>14444115i'm with you there, i really think that whole you're here forever meme is really accurate when it comes to this site. there are things i would enjoy doing with others but for one reason or another it's just not feasible so here i stay. for example the yugioh scene where i live is very bad the only places that host locals have them so late at night and i do not feel safe being out that late at night especially where my home is located. this place luckily because it takes in people from all walks of life can host discussion of pretty much anything that interests someone.
>>14444117life isn't without struggles and it's tests and it can be hard to not break down from how overbearing it can all be. giving up can seem like the solution i know, i have also had life beat me down and make me think that i wasn't destined to live a happy life ever again. even doctors had pretty much said that to me. things don't always look the brightest and certain things sting more than others especially when they come from someone you know. there are routes to finding these things but they are not the most pleasant as you'd have to put yourself out there and make connections. do you know what you would want to see in a partner? i think that is one of the first steps.
also try not to internalize those words from your father too much. sometimes when life beats you down like it sounds like it did to him to a degree you lash out and say things that you know will hurt people.
