Sola Fire had never been the type of woman to win matches. She'd been a Dojo stalwart her entire career, and it seemed inevitable that that was where she would remain. Still, it seemed that she’d finally gotten a clue, left the pit of leeches that was the WWA Dojo System and hit the gym. In spite of herself, Holly could not help but smile as she saw her hit move after move, finally breaking free of the chains that had bound her for so long. The yellow jacket had taken back its original meaning, that of the symbol of Sola Fire, not the Dojo.
But it was the other woman whom she had come to see in truth. Amy Flame. A woman who had offered her friendship and hardship in equal measure. A woman that Holly could never quite understand. she’d taken a different path to Holly, but even where those paths had seen them come face to face in head-on-collisions, she had still seen fit to reach out. To offer an olive branch of friendship and peace.
Holly had thrown such gestures back in her face. She needed to right that.
Amy’d fought well, not well enough to win, but well.
Backstage, Holly all but jumped on Amy from behind with a hug, pulling the smaller wrestler in tight to her chest.
“Amy! You did good, you did so good,” The words came out like a torrent, rapidfire and fueled by emotion, “I’m sorry you lost…”
“No, wait, shit, I’m sorry about everything. I’m sorry for how I treated you, I’m sorry about throwing your friendship back in your face. You were nothing but kind to me, and I was… I was-
“Sorry.”
Holly tightened her hug, “I don’t know what’s been happening, I don’t know what happened to Sola or why you were fighting. But I’m here for you. I’m finally here. I’m here.”
