I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one [c]tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.Jesus cared very much about the Old Testament, and the commandments, so much that He specified that they were still the Law. This applies to all LAW under the "Old Covenant."
To pretend Jesus did not care about the things he "never mentioned" is disingenuous at best.
I will agree that Christians do drive away secular people by how sanctimonious they act, but that doesn't mean that by an large sin is permitted simply because Christ was scarified for the sinner; so I will posit a question to you OP: Where did Christ give permission for Homosexuality, or Sin in general? Where in the Old Testament, which by Jesus' own words was *not* abolished, is Homosexuality permitted? If you can answer these questions, I will consider discussing this with you further.
