As for the economy of the wiemar republic it was fucked due to the allies as they demanded war reparations for WW1 this put the wiemar republic econamy in serious debt.
They managed to pay the first instalment they couldn't pay the 2nd so France invaded the Ruhr Germany's last industrial area. this lead to hyperinflation. then gustav stressaman took over and made the economy stable.
Unfortunately for stessaman he died two weeks before the great depression. as German economy was built on Americas they had to pay it all back this destroyed Germany economy leading Hitler into power
