>>13783847the bible teaches once saved always saved (God's promise of everlasting life that Jesus personally taught in John 3:16). but most of the people claiming to be Christians nowadays actually do not believe on Jesus, they are trusting their works to get to heaven so they are not saved. let's look at some popular denominations.
1. the roman catholic church teaches a full blown work salvation and lead people to hellfire. they deny once saved always saved.
2. the orthodox church officially denies once saved always saved, so they admit to not believe in John 3:16.
3. the lutheran church officially denies once saved always saved and believes in baptismal regeneration (i'm not saying that every lutheran is not saved but the majority seem to be denying osas).
4. reformed church (5 point calvinism) officially denies eternal security (osas) by believing in the perseverance of the saints (once saved always have works). 5 point calvinists backload works into the gospel.
5. methodist church officially deny osas by believing they can lose their salvation.
6. a very large bulk of the pentecostals deny osas by believing they can lose their salvation.
7. a very large number of protestants listen to unsaved false prophets like billy graham that preached work salvation and falsely believe they're going to heaven because they have "repented of their sins, gave their life to jesus, and have good works as evidence of their salvation"
8. jehovah's witnesses & mormons are literal cult tiers and they don't even believe in the trinity on top of believing in work salvation.
9. southern baptists officially believe in the "repent of your sins to be saved" heresy if you read their website and calvinism (satanic theology) has crept in deep into that denomination.
10. multiple gospel heretics like robert breaker/gene kim/peter ruckman deny John 3:16 by falsely claiming there are multiple gospels in the bible and that we're somehow saved by a different gospel than John 3:16
