I'm 29 and have just come to terms with the fact that I will never experience what my parents experienced. I'm not even sure it's an age thing at this point; people have just truly forgotten how to interact with each other romantically thanks to social media, dating apps and porn. Everyone is fucking insane, resents everyone else and isn't actually looking for anything other than selfish ego boosts. No one wants to commit, no one wants to have kids, everyone wants to just fuck around and pretend to be interesting. It's all so fucking boring and I'd rather be alone at this stage than deal with it (not like I have much to offer anyway.)
