I don't know those people oe animals, I have never interacted with them, so I'm incapable of feeling empathy towards them.
I feel a lot of empathy (not sympathy which is a similar emotion) to my family and pets. To others outside my little circle, I struggle to feel anything. But I will not kill anyone or anything, my mother would be extremelly sad with me and this breaks my heart.
