give some humans more alien dna than others. Those ones with more DNA become the priest class of the mandatory religion(money)
Some Priests lead a revolt and succeed
Aliens come back and wipe out revolt
Destroy all priests with "too much" alien DNA so they wont be able to have another revolt with long success
New priest class is still the humans with the most alien DNA

Aliens are long gone and the ones who we call Jews have ZERO contact with Aliens but remember the true history of earth
If the true history ever gets out than the priest class loses power
So the priest class invested heavily in genome and virus in order to destroy the world if they ever lose control
