>>21421835there is a difference and it depends on the severity of your ban, depends how hard they ban you on a topic board as to wether they ban you from that board or site wide.
if you're not banned site wide you are either just banned from that board, or if you're banned from /pol/ you will be restricted to several random boards.
those end site random boards are /bant/, [s4s] and /b/.
if you are banned in /bant/ the mods assume you were an irredeemable import and ban you site wide.
there are more rules but basically last thing i said, or that's at least the way they have it set up.
