If most people started counting every blessing they had for every curse then they might be able to turn their views around. For some it might be harder though. It's easy for me to speak, but there are many who were victims of abusive parents they couldn't get away from, and I imagine that such a thing marks you for a lifetime. When your only safe haven is compromised too.

Now of course, if I was a parent and I knew that some guy is a pedophile then I would still rather have my child avoid him.
Did you know that you have a special hospital/asylum in the US which attempts to "cure" pedophilia? Many choose to be interned there rather than in a prison, but the rate of success is very small. And those who don't succeed are stuck there until they do, or possibly forever. They are offenders after all.

Now I have read another chapter of my manga, but guess what? The author is yet another woman. I can sort of see it, though. The female protagonist is somebody whom I would rather buy as being written by a woman than by a man.
