I couldn't imagine melon getting any sweeter after the point of that sunset orange color it gets. Perhaps it has something else to it entirely, I just can't imagine what. I get the idea that it would come to the border of tasting like cherries, for some reason. Likely not.
Oh, seeing as they get the orange hue on the tip still, I suppose they're just very, very sweet melon. But, is that a good thing? Probably, yes. But, couldn't it just be too much? Like adding too much sugar to tea, too much sweetness is still a thing. Maybe that's just not a thing with melon, the sweetness ceiling is infinite. It would likely just be very good, yeah, I'm having doubts for no reason.
And, how can you say so? Have you tried it yourself? What was the taste and texture like?
Also, I'm not even going to address the weird things they have in the middle, that's just bizarre.
