Tried to make her one of the family and give her something that made her happy that wouldn't have negative consequences. It seemed to work but then it just wasn't enough and she was needing way more of my attention than I could give, and my own problems were too much to carry enough as it was. I was close to caving in and giving in, just going full zombie and doing all as asked but a friend woke me up to how fucking one sided this was and how it'd changed me.
