trees are really awesome creatures because they worship the sun (the closest to a real life god) non-stop with their outstretched branches and self-lessly provide air, food and shade to countless other lifeforms around them. they are the closest to saints among all the life forms.
there is a reason why the tree as a symbol (tree of life, kabbalah...) is a powerful mystical symbol.
