What really scares scientists shitless though is the potential for a strain of the Wuh Flu to mutate and basically hit us like the second wave of the 'Spanish' flu did which killed mostly young healthy people not necessarily because of the virus itself but because their immune systems over reacted instead.
That said regardless it's epidemic no matter how many lock downs we implement outside of absolute marshal law which would meet resistance that would probably kill even more people and lead to decades of instability than the virus could so we should really stop that shit outside of critical care patients and retirement homes.
