Cue the subliminal suggestion about kundalini awakening, and I took the energy I had while celibate, played a generic "binaural beats" type of track I found on YouTube, and had the energy flowing upwards within a couple of minutes. So it was obviously my time.
But it took a few days to figure out that I had to get the energy to rise to my head, to break the crown and have that toroidal energy flow. Everything I did, even every google search was like riding a wave of pure synchronicity, found appropriate pdfs of yoga books and turned to the exact page where I needed to proceed and work with the energy. Then it was like going to sleep with four senses and waking up with five.
