So, if you illegally immigrated to Israel or are making a case to the court for being Jewish, you can use DNA in some cases. In other words, it can be used as part of a case to prevent you from getting deported; if you went to the Jewish agency with a DNA test and asked for residency they'd tell you to fuck off.
