In a website that provides spaces to discuss all manners of things, why does the discussion of anthropomorphic animals need to be excluded? Because some long gone faggot named 'moot' said so? There's no rational reason why we do not have a board.
While there is no reason against creating a furry board, there is a raison d'être for creating it. /Trash/ is an inadequate substitution. It is 40-50% nonfurry and it is unmodderated. The lack of moderation encourages users who would otherwise be banned in any moderated spaces. On the general /hmofa/ there is a user who rabidly calls everyone a 'newfag', spams isis gore, and internet nihilism. A hmofa thread without him lasts about 18 hours, when he is active, the thread expires in about 4-6 hours.
Trash lacks moderation. This allows [b:lit]one individual[/b:lit] to mess up discussion of a popular topic for everyone. The presentation of /trash/ as a furry board is not acceptable or honest.
