People here rant about the NPC mind virus and the parasites and most of those rituals will clear the stuff out, if not severely damage it. The catch is that those evil and typically unintelligent entities can provide some measure of energy propping people up. So a lot of people feel sick or weak after a six hour long Catholic Easter service, or even a big bonfire.
