lee was in cahoots with the mods but when soot made the sharty it meant that the leebaiters would have to post on both websites which wasn't profitable to 4chan so they removed /qa/ in hopes of getting the leebaiters' attention to the changing ecosystem of 4chan and shitposting in general and the reason they wanted to do this was because barneyfag threads helped contrast out the board hence why leebait would rise on /qa/ when complaint threads would begin in fact the leebaiters took this to their advantage but the most oppressed group were the soiposters specifically those of which were third party leebaiters and those were the ones that kept getting banned for ponyspam among other things the reason why they were detrimental to the aforementioned truce was that their posts weren't regulated or standardized so they mostly stopped once people moved to /bant/ especially the lee impersonators who didn't want to piss away actual money for canadian proxies
