The hallucinations are always the same. I sincerely believe detoxing off alcohol is more than just delerium. I was always an atheist my whole life until my first real detox and withdrawals. When I was first visited by the demon who torments me during withdrawal.
I never believed in them before but I do now. It's the same entity every time. And there's no way that fucker is a figment of my imagination. It's even fucked around with my roommates when its manifested during my withdrawal.
The dreams.and nightmares are also absolutely incredible in nature.
It's a spiritual experience and a dangerous one.
When you decide to get better don't do it alone.
