It’s almost as if as a society our ability to make quality works is at a all time high, but our desire for it is at a all time low. To me it’s frustrating seeming such potential result in mediocrity at best and be held up as a triumph, that’s why I can enjoy stuff like the room and works of yesteryear because even if it’s a cluster fuck or it’s dated and cliché now I can see effort and passion that I don’t see when the movie thought process of modern media seem to be find a property to make a sequel to, find star, make a controversy, CGI everything, pander to shit eating masses, profit, repeat. It’s all so tiresome
