So like I finally realized why in Star Wars there is always killing of “youngling” personally I always thought that was weird these characters who go to the dark side are supposed to be redeemable to some extent and killing younglings makes it so they’re not to me but I digress
I think the idea with killing young children is that it’s supposed to represent the idea of sacrificing, and how in the first testament sacrificial offerings were common place, it wasn’t always seen as a sing of the devil but it was sometimes and also there are many tribes who practicing sacrificing animals and people to their Gods in like the Amazon as an example.
But many times they often sacrificed children, especially in the first testament that happens quite a lot it’s seen as a main major flaw and dilemma with sacrificial offerings and why it’s seen as a sign that it’s actually devil worship secretly instead of the God they claim to worship or that their God is secretly Lucifer I guess.
So that’s why they kill younglings in Star Wars it’s basically seen as an act of satanic offering and sacrifice of the young, a core and central tenant of the Sith and dark side
