The boomers don’t understand it, but our population becomes increasingly mixed in cultures. The outcome is a nation of youth with less and less an identity or shared traits. And it feels awful. You have no idea who or what you are unless you take some DNA test. Because American “traditions” are not the same as “cultural traditions” from wherever your blood is from. I don’t fucking belong here.
