>>9432290good luck. i don't think the recipe will be harmed much if you get pitted olives, except they'll fit less mince. if these had tasted better i would have recommended you stick with the recipe and cut around the pit but really, it doesn't seem to matter all that much. i know in theory unpitted olives taste better but these really weren't anything special.

the taste is actually pretty fucking wild, much different from anything i've ever eaten before. i can taste everything. the eggs, the breading, the olives, the mince, the wine and the nutmeg in the mince. must be some italian autistic magic.
all in all i'd say definitely worth it to try once but otherwise it's too much work (assuming you don't get pitted olives). only useful for flexing on guests with your culinary skills. but who knows, maybe you'll have an easier time cutting around the pits, i'm a bit of a cripple
