>>16895255but im giving it a pass because it only happened on a single map, and im guessing thats because it was a bigger one.
anyway, even with the jittery movement it was still rly chill. i think i found my new pass-time with these maps, theyre just so nice to go through. thankfully when ur playing on a server it tells you which ones are easy so u dont have to deal with shit that youre never gonna be able to beat, its just nice little strolls through pretty looking maps. listened to pilotredsun stuff while going through some and it felt dreamy and nice, just makes me happy. talking about it makes me want to play more, ig i will later today
dont have much else to say about it, was just an hour or two of playing css but pretty much everything i could experience was in it lol.
have this screenshot i took of this map that i thought looked cool
see what i mean about being able to see your destination and whatever? when youre at the start it looks so far away and like itll take u forever to get up there, but when you finally do, you get to look down and see how far u came up and it just feels nice. even during the process of climbing up there u get to just stop and see yoru progress every once in a while, and its nice. i think itd be nice to play one of these without any checkpoints, i dont think im good enough at it to be able to finish one without trying my ass off for a good while, but itd be nerve-wrecking in a fun way, like when im near the end and have to not fuck up the last couple jumps. i really wonder if its how hiking in real life feels? i would say that id like to hike, but not really. it just sounds boring to me, when all ur doing is walking up. it should be like cs:s where you parkour and strafe through platforms and fall to your death.
this map was called pool, btw. because it has one little pool in the middle of it. im guessing the creator made a map, didnt know what to name it, then he placed in a pool so he could name it pool. thats cool
