>>16061521Eh, that's just a no. I haven't been consuming anything new lately, and even when I do, it's an occasion pretty far and in-between. Just playing the same old stuff that I do, not for long either. It seems like I just spent most of the day listening to the same music that I did the day before, and getting laughs out of whatever stuff I come across that fits my sense of humor, or whatever I make up on the spot. But that's another thing, what I'm thinking about it is, it's actually a good thing how little I try out new things.
To preface, I actually haven't watched a single movie so far for the entirety of 2022. Now, if I went ahead and watched literally any movie, I would remember and be thinking about that one movie occasionally, for likely the rest of my life. I mean, it would be my sole movie of that one year, there's just no way you don't keep a memory of that. I think that's how, a couple threads ago or just the one before this, I managed to write so much about Taxi Driver. While I only saw the movie half a decade ago, and at a time where I couldn't even really comprehend it because of my age. But I still recalled it somewhat well and managed to have extensive thoughts about it, because it was likely my sole movie of that year also. Not to take credit from the movie, it was a pretty memorable one by itself, but I usually forget a lot about stuff even if it was good. For example, I barely remember anything from Deus Ex, even if it's one of my favorite games of all time. So, I think the reason that I was able to give any thoughts about it is because, me watching it was such a special occasion. If I were watching a movie every single day during that time period, I really don't believe that I would've been able to write as much as I did about Taxi Driver in particular. If you had a walk every single day, those walks would start blending in as one memory, and you would end up not really being able to tell one occasion from the other. Character limit.
