Albeit t'was a bit drawn out, you could shave a good 15-20 episodes off it and it`ll still be great
The plot got really intersting towards the end and the characters were mostly likeable bar the protagonist, mecha designs were cool too but thats expected from something that went on to become five stars monogatari
The only drawbacks were kind of weak sound design and animation werent the greatest, although the character and mecha design made up for it
Overall, a solid 8
