Backstage, Carmody Jefferson is being looked at by trainers after a hard-fought loss to Holly Hope-Again. It was frustrating to lose to someone who'd insulted her and Sola at the party, but she has to admit a newfound respect for Holly and her talents. Holly Hope-Again was a hell of a fighter, and Carmody was left with the scant consolation that she'd left it all on the field against one of the WWA's toughest and most talented competitors.
That did little to assuage the sting of defeat, and NOTHING to soothe the dull pounding in her skull. Carmody has had her bell rung, and now the medical crews not allowing her to go back out to the ring, despite her protests.
>"Look, I understand you being worried, but believe me, I'm okay. Can't I just go to ringside as a manager?"
The staff doctor shakes his head. "We've gotta keep you back to be on the safe side. Why do you need to be out there so bad anyway?"
>"Oh, I don't know, it's just my best friend in a tag team match against our two trainers, on the last show before the PWE. Nothing big."
Carmody pulls out her cell phone and sends off a text to Sola Fire:
>Hey, sorry I can't return the favor and be your manager tonight. Doctor thinks I'm concussed again or something LOL. Can't someone just tell him that this is normal and I'm always like this?
>Anyway, good luck out there with Coach Ash and Coach Maria. I want you to kick so much ass that I end up seething about not being able to be there even more!
The doctor tries to shine a light in her eyes, but Carmody pushes his hand away. "Look, I need to check your pupils again. They seem fine but--"
>"If I gotta stay back here, I'm gonna do it with my ass parked in front of a monitor watching this match. You can shine that damn thing in my face again when it's over."
Carmody stares down the hall in the direction of the Gorilla position, but then grudgingly settles in in front of a monitor to watch Ash Romero and Mighty Milf take on Sola Fire and Karna.
