>Black Star DB Arc
Basically original DB in Space without as much charm and with Z-style fights. One in every five episodes of this arc is actually fun, the rest is boring.
>Baby Arc
Peak of GT. Baby is honestly a great concept for a villain, his plan makes sense and mostly works, the intro of Super Saiyan 4 while contrived is still not bad, and Piccolo sacrificing himself is the only emotional moment in GT until the ending. Least-shit animation in the series too.
>Super 17/Hell arc
Short, meaningless, boring, outside of all the cameos of other villains who escape hell. Vegeta killing Nappa a second time is the peak of it. Super 17 is so stupid that him confronting Krillin & 18 just doesn't feel important.
>Dragons arc
Monster of the week formula to the letter until Syn initiates final boss mode. Some of the dragons have okay gimmicks but they're mostly dull. Nuova is the best because he's the only one that isn't comically evil. Omega exists just to power wank one final time and get BTFO by Gogeta and a Spirit Bomb.
Meanwhile, Super:
>BoG
Pretty fun standalone movie, fucking awful arc in the show. They stretch the movie out way too much and the animation sucks except for one single episode in the middle. Beerus, Whis, & Jaco are great though.
>RoF
Okay movie, fucking HORRIBLE TV arc.
>U6vU7
If the animation wasn't awful, I'd like this arc. It gives the feeling of old DB World Tournament arcs where you'd have some brand new character with a weird gimmick to fight around.
>Black/Zamasu
Great setup, decent execution, worst fucking ending possible. Zamasu is a different kind of villain for DB but he gets squandered hard.
>ToP
Reeks of running out of ideas. Getting U7's team together WAS fun to watch, but the arc itself was extremely hit and miss. One episode there's a decent fight and the next three it's just stalling. Jiren barely qualifies as a villain, he's just a brick wall.
>Super Broly
Legitimately the best official piece of DB media in decades.
