At the Laurentine family's manor in the wealthy upper districts of the kingdom's capital, a grand and festive gala is in full swing. Distinguished socialite and castle guard Elyssa Laurentine uploads a video to her social media, wearing a splendid evening dress.
>"Tonight is, of course, a BIG night for all citizens of the Kingdom as we prepare to watch Her Majesty the Queen perform. And nowhere is it more richly celebrated than here at the Laurentine Manor's Waifus Collide watchalong party."
Elyssa turns the camera and lets it pan over a crowd of distinguished guests and banquet tables richly provided with food and drink. There are several large television screens set up throughout the room as well.
>"Though perhaps not in conditions quite so extravagant, it is our hope from not only my famil,y but all good people of the Kingdom, that we're joined by a great audience of WWA enthusiasts worldwide tonight! I'll be eagerly watching not only Her Majesty's match, but all of the spirited athletic competition we expect to see in the next two days."
Elyssa turns the camera back around to herself but glances at a clock, and raises her eyebrows.
>"Anyway, if you'll excuse me: I may make one more sortie at the refreshments table before the next match begins and the best of the offerings are all taken. I TOLD my father the basil salmon puffs would go quickly and to have the cooks prepare more of them!"
She smiles tolerantly.
>"This may perhaps be the finest hour of the WWA. I DO hope you all can enjoy it as much as I will!"
