>>20561149I used web forums and downloaded source ports, ROMs and abandonware. There were sites like Albinoblacksheep, flash games, homestarrunner, etc. but I mostly used those at friends' houses. I mostly lurked video game forums for years. Found lots of great Doom WADs. Early YouTube was great when that came along. Didn't use 4chan until the very late 00's or early 10's and never touched Reddit.
