just PLAY it as best you can each time, and don't "think" in paradigms like "my self worth depends on how 'gud' i do" and sheeeeeeeeiiiittt like that, or anything else other than focusing on the patterns, the goals, the needs. You /need/ this number and this color, where is it, can you get to it, how can you get to it, what will getting to it do to your ability to get to others you need later, etc.
Do not "think" things like "if I'm not gud @ this right away and easily then I am dumb" or any such thing. Just /think/ "I am going to do this regularly and see what happoons over time", because you /will/ DEVELOP MOAR OF A MIND for it. DEVELOPING MIND is the real goal here.
SOME DEALS/HANDS ARE BAD/UNWINNABLE, but I often play those until there are no moves left.
THE ONLY THING I DO THAT COULD BE CALLED "CHEATING" is when I do a new deal, I look for a bunch of the same fucking shit all piled together, like three 8s, or wutevs, all stacked on top of each other, like one column of cards has three 8s (or wutevs literally all together in the one column. In a real, physical card shuffling situation, it's not going to be likely to produce a lot of those, and they are guaranteed to make that game overly difficult in enough cases that I just do another deal. As long as I don't see a bunch of clustered pileups like that, I play the deal as far as I can go.
