I wonder if the idea of the light and dark side encompasses and reaches beyond the notion of the earth. Basically, I wonder if Star Wars has ever dealt with the notion I had of the ‘space devil’ in that, how does the idea of the devil work in regards to outer space and space travel? Surely there could be other devils and likewise the devils reach doesn’t include outer space does it? So in a sense his power only really extends over the earth.
So I think the force is supposed to go beyond just the earth and extend to other planets and other life forms which is why you have like Darth maul as an example who is pretty satanic looking and satanic looking aliens in the Star Wars universe in general.
But then, maybe the dark side isn’t true evil, I’m not sure, Star Wars seems pretty grey morally. And like to me the dark side doesn’t seem like absolute evil entirely for sure so there could be another evil beyond the sith quite possibly (but they would possibly be Siths too maybe?) I dunno kind of another flaw with Star Wars I think
