But the regional director for DPSS Texas said the school was unlocked and no officers were at the school, so the gunman entered uninterrupted. He also refused to address why the police officers, who arrived 4 minutes after the 911 call stood outside for 40 minutes and did nothing. And refused to answer whether it was true or not that parents of the children inside the school started screaming and crying and even begging the police officers to give them their guns and protective equipment so they themselves could go inside and save their own children. And he once more refused to answer why police officers lied about engaging the shooter before he entered school, when that in fact did not happen.
