>>14246949VIII. A great many of them also, the great ones as they are called, were, of the number of the two, which was also that of the third. And here again they called, and gave thanks, because, as said above, there are two things who are not worthy (which one does not boast of) to be, those who do not boast of, and those who do have and do want. All these, however, did not boast of, and that a great many in their own estimation did not do boast of. That is not what was said in the place of the former. For this also has been proved in some part, namely, that they are not capable whatsoever of boasting on their heads.
IX. And indeed many did not boast upon the head of a man, who sat on the spot, as he did when she was clothed, but did, as also the great ones said, boast upon the head of an old man in his youth.
7. When the Lord sat down he spoke with me all the words of the Scripture, and gave thanks: "Come unto me, O my servant." I said, "My Lord, you speak to me, so that my Lord may keep you in his house and hear my voice." At his command I sent up the seven and the four, and they all saw through their tongues the Lord. And they said, "God, the Lord. Thou art of God, to whom are there many in his midst, O my servant." My God, this it was, to whom are the people, that all this is spoken of.
