>>8921088well people do it just to swag on baddies too. it's not that bad to stay in low teirs since matchmaking ratings are so "sticky" so to speak and streaks matter much more than consistent performance in a lot of cases, so you can just bomb it for a week and be right as rain. that's on top of the fact that it's very possible to run over your opponents in the early game then borderline afk when the opportunity to actually win arises so that you can have a really high KDA and run around one shotting people while still losing
