>>15648001>described what was seenNo that's not true, I've heard this argument before it a lot and it holds no weight for multiple reasons. First just read the actual scripture!
>And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Beth-horon, that the Lord cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died … Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and He said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher?2 So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.’>He said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still>He saidIt clearly says that Joshua SAID "sun stand thou still" it doesn't say, and something happened and they saw the appearance of the sun not moving across the sky because the earth stopped rotating. Why change what it says, just believe what it says, it's that simple. When you change it then why not change other parts? Jesus only appeared to be resurrected! Obviously according to modern biology we know it isn't possible for the dead to come back to life! back then those primitive people didn't understand our knew understandings, so they obviously meant that he was never really actually resurrected.
It's mostly just pride that you couldn't possibly be duped so hard.
