The release valve you're talking about isn't 'provided'. It's necessary and must be accommodated. Whoever tries to control reality can only really control it's perception. They are part of and trapped within reality as much as anyone of us.
But even if /pol/ is controlled opposition and a consequence of it is an impairment of human's ability to form strong collectives, it can't be sustained indefinitely. Which leaves two possibilities. One is a mass slaughter which'll amount to a reset. The other is a situation in which something goes wrong with the plan for a reset and humanity, somehow, rises up to confront whatever it is which seeks it's harm.
I'm open to suggestions but the only organisation I can see RN that could provide a focus point is Islam.
