Clearly the tall, very lean male has long been desired. And we know it's in no way optimal. 5'8-5'9 is the best height for combat, and the somewhat overweight live longest. Perhaps it evokes one's vanishing youth? But yes, it's fair to say they are widely seen as hot. Which is too bad because I'll never be long and lean.
