something happened and both sides lost contact with their HQs in this solar system. those who left the planet to check it out didn't come back, nor did they send any transmissions back. war on planetside was very intense so there wasn't any opportunity for investigation. then it happened. the terrifying surface weapon which was banned by the galactic council was used by chinks and turks retaliated with the same force. this caused the death of billions of humanoids and animals and the reptilian race who were natural habitants of this world (were also neutral in this war) left the surface to hide in their underground cities. only a handful of turks and chinks remained, all the technology was gone and they became primitive people. the war was forgotten, only hatred remained inbetween them so they kept fighting with primitive weapons, without remembering why
