There was absolutely no way they would've compromised a triple threat final between Teej, Shinji and Tay by eliminating one of them and keeping Trish in.
Or, alternately, maybe they eliminate Shinji but the final isn't a triple threat. They eliminate Trish next and the final is 1vs1 between TJ and Tay.
