Why do you think cirno threads last for an upwards of 3-5 days? There's no high traffic in them, it's just that people post a few images and go away, and when the next anon comes along from whatever timezone they post cirno, rinse and repeat.
Another reason why people post cirno threads so often was that Cirno was taking big GETs so often within the first few days of /bant/, ignoring that Cirno's stolen gets all over different boards for almost as long as 4chan's been around.
