>>11309884>How are things over there anyway?Iraq is experiencing some political moves about removing the weapons from people and limiting them to the government, which is bad IMO because that means all of the power is in untrustworthy hands, even Saddam didn't do that
In other news the war against corruption within the government continues but who knows if it will achieve much since the corruption is systematic
ISIS is striking Kurdish and Iraqi targets here and there but nothing major, they've returned to an underground insurgency but I doubt it will go anywhere.
Iran is still duking it out with America in their cold war along with China and Russia but we'll see where that goes, talks are if the recent protests were successful it might have turned into a full fledged coup but that didn't happen so the back and fourth continues
and that's it for Iraq, Yemen is still the same but the war there has devolved to skirmishes all over the frontlines instead of major battles, same with Syria which is even more frozen. Libya is slowly freezing too since Egypt intervened militarily to stop Turkish influence. Lebanon is still in a political deadlock and the possibility of civil war is not off the menu
>From what I gathered, Burgers are supposed to fully withdraw eventually Never gonna happen, they will forever have influence and troops here. I am fine with it honestly as long as we become like the UAE or Saudi Arabia
